GODSELL Audrey Kate (Sealey) Audrey died peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 11th, 2017 in the company of her immediate family aged 83 years. Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, faithful and loving. She was recently bereaved of her husband and business partner of 62 years, Edward. Audrey is survived by her daughter Liz, sons Rye, Harry and nine grandchildren. The eldest of six children, Audrey was born to Lawrence and Alice Sealey of Putloe Court Farm, Moreton Valence. Audrey's childhood was blessed with a loving family and applied the same values when married and caring for her own children and grandchildren. A gifted academic at Ribston Hall School, Audrey left school at sixteen to work beside the family business producing poultry eggs. Audrey was pivotal in re-establishing Wheatenhurst Young Farmers Club in the 1950's, and it was through these activities she met her husband Edward. In her later years, Audrey enjoyed playing bridge and supported Gloucestershire County Cricket Club. Audrey was a gifted organist and was taught by Billy Graham a local blind organist who went on to play in Gloucester Cathedral to great acclaim. The Funeral Service will be at the same church where she played the organ and was married. The Parish Church of St Stephen, Moreton Valence on Friday, 28th April at 11.00a.m. Memorial donations in Audrey's name can be made to The Great Western Air Ambulance Charity.
