PORTER John David 'Whacker' John passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 10th October 2017, aged 77 years. Dearly loved Husband to Joy, Dad to Andrew & Tracey, Father-in-law to Stephanie & Shaun, Grampy to Ellie, Seb, Freddie & Tyler and Brother to Rex & Eileen. Private cremation at Westerleigh Crematorium. A service to celebrate John's life will take place at St. George's Parish Church, Nailsworth, on Tuesday, 24th October at 2.30pm. Family flowers only please, donations may be sent for (and made payable to) The Alzheimer's Society c/o Fred Stevens Funeral Directors, Newmarket Road, Nailsworth, GL6 0DQ or donate online at www.fredstevens.co.uk.
