HAWKES John Charles Retired Postman. Of Ferris Court View, Bussage. Died peacefully on 1st July 2018 at Cheltenham General Hospital, aged 96 years. Much loved Husband of the Late Jean Hawkes, Father of Cherry, Penny and Philip, Father in Law of Geoff and Nadine, Grandfather of Laura and Emma and Great Grandfather of Amelia. Funeral Service at Cheltenham Crematorium (South Chapel) on Friday 27th July at 11.15am. Family flowers only, donations in lieu may be sent for (and made payable to) The Alzheimer's Society c/o Fred Stevens Funeral Directors, Old Bussage Garage, Bussage, Stroud.
