Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Traffic Management Act 2004 The County of Wiltshire (Malmesbury and Malmesbury Without) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting, Taxi Rank Clearways and On Street Parking) Consolidation Order 2017 Notice is hereby given that on 8 August 2017 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 to revoke The County of Wiltshire (Malmesbury and Malmesbury Without) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting, Taxi Rank Clearways and On Street Parking) Consolidation Order 2010 (with Amendment No.1) and re-enact it in the above Order and to include additional restrictions as follows: 1) To introduce No waiting at any time on Bristol Street - north side - from a point 54 metres south west of its junction with Bremilham Road for a distance of 33 metres in a westerly direction; Burnham Road - north side - from its junction with Pool Gastons Road for a distance of 20 metres south west of that junction; Burnham Road - south side - from its junction with Pool Gastons Road for a distance of 17 metres south west of that junction; Dark Lane - north east side - from its junction with Bristol Street for a distance of 15 metres south east of that junction; Hodge Lane - south side - from its junction with St Aldhelm Road for a distance of 5 metres north east of that junction; Old Railway Close - both sides - from its junction with Webbs Wayfora distance of5 metreseastofthatjunction; Pool Gastons Road -both sides-from itsjunction with Burnham Road for a distance of 12 metres south west of that junction; Reeds Farm Road - north side - from a point 27 metres west of its junction with Webbs Way to a point 17 metres east of that junction; St Aldhelm Road- north east side - from its junction with Pool Gaston Road for a distance of 24 metres to itsjunction with Hodge Lane; St Aldhelm Road -south westside -from its junction with Pool Gaston Road for a distance of 8 metres in a northerly direction; Webbs Way - both sides from its junction with Reeds Farm Road to a point 12 metres north of its junction with Old Railway Close. 2. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: B4696 (Part), Purton and Braydon; from its junction with C67 (Braydon Crossroads) for a distance of approximately 200m in a northerly direction to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out bridge replacement works. Alternative route via B4696 (unaffected length) - B4042 - A429 - B4040 - B4696 (unaffected length) and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 11 September 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for 16 weeks. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Pedestrian access will be maintained for residents and businesses, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. Alternative route via Footpath 34, Bishops Cannings. The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Temporary Closure of: Various Roads, Chippenham (Chippenham Half Marathon)
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all vehicular traffic under a rolling road closure: (a) A420 Bristol Road (Part); from its junction with Hardenhuish Avenue to its junction with Marshfield Road; (b) A420 Marshfield Road (Part); from its junction with Bristol Road to its junction with Park Lane; (c) A420 (Part), Park Lane; from its junction with Marshfield Road to its junction with New Road; (d) A420 (Part), New Road; from its junction with Park Lane to its junction with The Bridge; (e) C365 The Bridge; from its junction with New Road to its junction with High Street; (f) C365 High Street; from its junction with The Bridge to its junction with Market Place; (g) C365 Market Place (Part); from its junction with High Street to it junction with The Causeway; (h) C365 The Causeway; from its junction with Market Place to its junction with London Road; (i) C365 London Road (Part); from its junction with The Causeway to its junction with A4 Pewsham Way. The above closures will be managed on a 'rolling road closure' basis and will be reopened to traffic as soon as safely possible. Notice isherebygiven thaton 8 August2017 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Orderunder the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act of 1984") and the Traffic Management Act 2004 to amend the following restrictions in the Devizes Consolidation Order 2009 by revoking Map Schedule No EH53 dated 4th December2009 and replacing it bythe insertion of revised Map Schedule No EH53 the effect of which will be to extend existing No Waiting at any time on Avon Road - east side -from a point 27 metres south of its junction with Bath Road for a distance of 29 metres in a south then easterly direction.
