AN ORGY of music, dance and feasting awaits Chalford this weekend.
The annual Chalford Feast kicks off its fourth year at 2pm on Saturday, September 1, with a carnival snake procession starting from the Post Office at the bottom of Chalford High Street.
The carnival procession will lead to the Valley Playing Field where the revels will continue into the early hours of the morning.
A Caribbean cafe and bar will ensure feast go-ers are well fed and watered throughout the day and night.
And a host of games will keep the whole family entertained. There will be stalls selling jam, home made cakes and produce and children are running their very own toy sale.
There is an earlier start of 11am on the playing fields for those wishing to learn about bread oven building.
Live music begins at 4pm.
