Bronze as cheap as cheese

HAVE you ever wondered how it is possible to produce an exquisite miniature dragonfly or a life-sized elephant in bronze?

If you haven't had a chance to see the superb exhibition of contemporary bronze sculpture at the Museum in the Park then here's your opportunity.

Stroud's Museum in the Park is presenting a lecture by Rungwe Kingdon, Director of the Pangolin Editions, one of Britain's leading sculpture foundries.

The lecture will explore the secrets of the lost wax casting method used to create the sculptures appearing in the Museum's On Your Doorstep exhibition.

A spokesperson from Pangolin Editions said: " Most of us are familiar with bronze monuments and sculptures but few are aware of the work involved.
