Biker shaken up by milk attack

POLICE have warned parents to keep a tighter leash on their children after a foolish prank almost caused a fatal accident.

Yesterday, a Stroud motorcyclist was counting her blessings after a terrifying experience which happened as she rode along Merrywalks at the weekend.

A group of youngsters standing on the footbridge dropped a milkshake on the woman's head which landed on her visor completely blocking her view.

The woman told the SNJ how she only narrowly avoided crashing her motorbike.

The strawberry milkshake was dropped by one of a group of around six young children at 2.30pm on Saturday.

The woman who had only passed her test four weeks ago had to use all her skills to bring her Suzuki SV650 to a halt without crashing. "I feel it could have been a lot worse," she said afterwards.

And she added: "One day a milkshake - but what next?
