A STROUD man has found love for the first time after the story of his brave battle back to life appeared in the Stroud News & Journal.
Cupid shot his bow after Mike Wimperis, 36, told the harrowing story in August of how had he suffered kidney failure twice and how he had spent years on dialysis until a compassionate donation from a bereaved family gave him back the gift of life in last summer.
Mike, a diabetic, whose parents own the Selsley Herb and Spice Company told the SNJ then that he couldn't begin to put into words the gratitude he felt towards the family who had agreed to donate the kidney.
But little did he know at the time that his life was about to change in another way.
