Collie needs a home

A STROUD family still haven't found a new owner to care for their loving and affectionate dog.

Marli is an 11-year-old Border Collie cross in the autumn of his life. Owner, Frances Clark-Stone is looking for a new owner who will provide Marli with lots of affection and company in a calm environment.

There are two children age seven and three in Marli's current family and their mother Frances feels that it is all getting a bit too much for him.

"I've started to work as well recently," said Frances. "And he really needs the company as he is a very affectionate dog.

"But when we are all here it's just too noisy, he would be ideal for an active retired person who can give him the love and quiet slow walks he enjoys."

Ideally the family would like him to stay in Stroud where they can still pop and see him occasionally.
