Farm seeds growing

PLANS for a community-owned farm for Stroud are steadily developing.

The seeds of the idea were planted late last year and a planning meeting held on December 13 has led to a list of principles being drawn up.

Over 100 people have shown interest in the scheme and are keen to support the organic farm and make sure the workers make a decent living.

The community supported agriculture project will give people the chance to get involved in the farming themselves, will provide educational opportunities for those wanting to learn more about where our food comes from and will promote wildlife-friendly farming.
