THE world is beating a path to the door of a Nailsworth man determined to put the town on the map.
In fact, Bob Warner, owner of Heathcliff Picture Framers is determined to put Nailsworth on every map in the world.
With a clever sprinkling of high technology he has created an ingenious set of greeting cards which puts the town right where he wants it.
His collection includes Nailsworth Beach, in which Nailsworth Police Station has been replaced by the slightly more attractive vista of Bondi Beach.
And sight-seers need venture no further than the town centre for a stunning view of the leaning tower of Pisa now replacing the clock tower.
Mr Warner, a keen amateur photographer said:"I had already used computer technology to remove unsightly signs from my Nailsworth photos when I realised I could go so much further.
"I thought if I could take a car out then I could put a beach in, or a marina, anything."
Mr Warner, who established his business 12 years ago, has a wealth of new ideas to add to his current collection of six cards.
His latest project emulates America's tinsel town with a Welcome to Harleywood in large letters on the side of the Nailsworth valley.
And news of the cards with a view is reaching far and wide.
But will fame go to the head of the card designer who admits he has already had to airbrush Minchinhampton out of the picture for his Nailsworth By The Sea view.
"My customers have a good sense of humour," said Mr Warner.
"And now I have proved that the camera can lie, the world is my oyster."
