THE aptly-named Mssrs Coupe and Carless were due to appear before Stroud magistrates charged with motoring offences this week.
Terence John Carless, 56, of Cirencester was caught doing just over 90mph on the M5 motorway and on Thursday he was fined £60 and received three penalty points on his licence.
This meant he kept his car after all as his licence had previously been clean. Stephen Anthony Coupe, 33, of Windsoredge, Nailsworth, had been summoned for using a vehicle without insurance or test certificates and for failing to produce those documents but his case was adjourned until February, 21.
