Football club's plea for return of kit

HEARTBROKEN football club officials are lamenting the loss of the very first kit they bought for their boys 12 years ago.

They believe pranksters snatched the 11 yellow shirts, shorts and socks belonging to Hardwicke Rangers under eights, from a washing line in Elmgrove Estate before Christmas.

Careway Removals donated the kit in 1990 and club co-founder Sue Dawe said it has great sentimental value.

Anyone who may know anything of the whereabouts of the kit should call the police on 0845 0901234.
