Jilly was the strongest link

RAUNCHY author Jilly Cooper put celebrity allcomers to the sword this week, when she emerged victorious on the hit game show, The Weakest Link.

After despatching recently retired Radio Four Today Programme presenter Sue MacGregor, Jilly from Bisley went head to head with another writer, Whitbread Prize winner Patrick Neate.

"It was terrifying," she told the News & Journal. "I think I was so brave!" She won £7,500, which was donated to a memorial to all animals killed in wars around the world.
