Ban for director

A MINCHINHAMPTON man has been barred from being a company director for five years.

Wolfgang Dennis Gough of Chapel Street, Minchinhampton was involved in the running of two firms left behind debts of nearly £300,000.

He was a director of Sigma Developments Ltd of Overley House, Daglingworth and of business and management consultancy Stockmanor Ltd.

In October 1999, Sigma Developments Ltd went in to liquidation with an estimated deficiency of £176,221. Stockmanor Ltd went in to liquidation in February 1996 with a £105,623 deficiency.

The Secretary of State for Trade and Industry has accepted an undertaking from Mr Gough to be disqualified from acting as a company director for five years.
