police have found the car of missing Bisley publicans Bob and Barbara Dorey who disappeared in February.
The couple's grey Jeep Cherokee was discovered parked by the side of a road next to the beach at Selsey, in Sussex, on Saturday March 30.
Mr Dorey's body was recovered from the English Channel, near Calais, on Sunday March 3 and Stroud police are currently awaiting the results of a post-mortem by the French authorities.
However no trace has yet been found of Mrs Dorey.
The pair were last seen on Tuesday February 12, when they left the Stirrup Cup pub to go shopping in Gloucester.
They did not return and staff contacted police two days later.
Acting Detective Inspector Geoff Brookes, who is leading the search for Mrs Dorey, visited colleagues in Sussex this week to liaise with them about the find.
He said: "The keys were still in the ignition and Mrs Dorey's handbag, containing bank cards and a number of her personal effects, was found inside.
"At this stage we are no closer to discovering what has happened to Mrs Dorey."
