fFestival highlights

TICKETS for Bob Geldof's Stroud concert to be held during this year's fringe Festival sold out in just four days, smashing box office records at the Subscription Rooms.

Those who did not manage to get a ticket should not be too disheartened, however, as there are plenty of other events to look forward to at this year's fFestival.

Great interest has already been shown in the 'fifth Beatle', Pete Best, who will be reminiscing about the days spent on tour with the Fab Four and spending a whole afternoon entertaining the audience with music and slideshow for a nostalgic concert.

The line up for the fFestival is impressive. Other big names include blues singer Alan Price and seventies folk star Ralph McTell.
