BOYS from Bisley have composed their own rap to celebrate the Queen's golden jubilee.
Bisley Blue Coat pupils Ryan Ponting, Dan Riches, George Hemming, Alaric Garratt (all 11) and Daniel Burgon (seven) have released a CD entitled Jubilee Rap in time for the monarch's celebrations.
"They had great fun doing it," said Ryan's mum Liz Ponting. "They are really looking forward to getting some radio coverage."
The CD had to be recorded in two sessions because, she said, the boys were having so much fun. Once they had pulled themselves together, Daniels' mum Jackie, professional singer and husband of Bafta award-winning composer Geoffrey Burgon, polished and produced the piece.
The boys are set to perform the Jubilee Rap on Saturday during the village jubilee celebrations.
The CD will be on sale then, from George Stores or via www.bisleybluecoats.ik.com
