IT CAN be hard work being a fund-raiser, but stripping off in front of hundreds of screaming girls is more than most volunteers could bare.
But boys from Marling School threw caution - and their shirts - to the wind to collect money for Cancer Research on Friday.
And the daring lads, who dressed down to their pants in the name of charity, have helped raise more than £7,000 for Downfield Rag Week.
The week is organised every year by Year 13 pupils from Stroud High and Marling. The schools host a series of events and charge pupils to attend.
Shows this year included Stars in Their Eyes, Teacher Challenge, Top of the Flops, Dance of the Decades and Friday's Mr Downfield.
For Dance of the Decades on Thursday, spectators were treated to performances of MC Hammer's Can't Touch This, the Jackson 5's Blame it on the Boogie, Baby Love by the Supremes and the theme from the Rocky Horror Show.
The week's grand finale was the Mr Downfield beauty competition.
This event caused controversy a few years ago when entrants were suspended after performing a Full Monty display.
