Art club is back home

THE Lansdown Art Club, which has been going for over thirty years, is exhibiting at Stroud's Subscription Rooms again after a four year break, made necessary by the Subscription Rooms' extensive renovations.

The exhibition, which finishes this weekend, features work by Cranham artist Janet Whitton, trophy-winning watercolour artist Barry Barnes and prize-winning minature painter Eric Morton as well as many more of the 60-strong membership of the group.

The Lansdown Art Club is delighted to be back at what it considers its natural home - the Subscription Rooms' George Room.

The exhibition finishes on Friday, March 21. It is open between 10am and 5pm and entry is free, although donations for the Cotswold Care Hospice would be welcomed.
