Human shield arrested

HUMAN shield Grace Trevett was arrested at Fairford airbase on Monday.

Peace campaigner Grace, who recently returned from Baghdad, was taking part in a demonstration at the base alongside women from the former Greenham Common peace camp.

She was one of two women arrested for obstructing the highway.

She was not charged at the time but released and reported for summons.

"There is not officially a charge because a decision has not yet been made," said a spokesman for Gloucestershire police.

"However they will go through the system and will be notified by post when they have to appear in court."
