Anyone lost their marbles?

THE FIVE Valleys version of the Elgin marbles has been unearthed by police.

Officers have discovered a secret stash of classical panels, figurines and sculptures and want to reunite them with their rightful owners.

But, just as with the original marbles, returning them has proved a bit of a problem.

Police have been unable to locate homes for the collection of statues found in the Frampton-on-Severn area a couple of weeks ago.

Officers believe the statues come from properties in the Stroud area and some items are thought to be worth around £100.

Anyone who recognises them should contact Stroud police on 0845 090 1234.
