Choclate's cheap

HORSLEY-BASED theatre company Fair Game has just received a community dividend grant from Oxford, Swindon and Gloucester Co-op for £1000.

The grant will go towards helping the theatre company take their play Chocolate, about fair trade, to schools in Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.

Chocolate explores the ill-treatment of people involved in Chocolate production and discusses the consequences with students.

"So far, schools that have seen the show have thoroughly enjoyed it," said Sarah Blowers of Fair Game. "We are now able to offer the show at a reduced rate so more students can learn the principles of Fair Trade. The show costs £275 to perform and some schools simply can't afford that."

Oxford, Swindon and Gloucester Co-op last year launched a new website supporting ethical trading, which can be found at www.osgmakeitfair.coop
