Wycliffe Sculling Centre enjoyed much success at the National Schools Regatta, Nottingham over the half term holiday.
Pippa Turner and Fern Cotterill (from Tenbury Wells) won a gold medal in the girls under 16 double, Fern then went on to win a bronze medal in the girls under 16 single. Hannah Welling, Katie Oliver, Jess Aylard and Ali Janes (Rednock) also won a bronze medal in the girls under 18 quad.
Stuart Round and Dominic Ashworth (Rednock) did well to finish 4th , at their first National competition together in the boys under 15 double.
At Coate Water Regatta, Swindon the week before, the entire club won the Jean Richards Memorial Trophy for the most club wins by juniors and received a cheque for £200.
Hannah Welling has been invited to Great Britain Junior Final Trials in July. She will be competing with other national and international level scullers to win a place at the World or European Junior Championships in August.
The next events on the calendar are Bridgnorth Regatta, Reading Regatta, Henley Womens, Henley Royal and National Championships.
