Big Brother's Anouska poses for Meningitis Trust

THE Meningitis Trust in Stroud has gained a celebrity supporter from the cult television series Big Brother.

Anouska, the first person to leave the Big Brother house posed for photographs for the News of the World at the weekend to raise funds for The Meningitis Trust which she says saved her life when she was hit by the disease.

Nicola Davies, communication manager for the Stroud Trust said: "It is fantastic. It raises the profile and awareness of the disease. We hope to invite her to Stroud."
