Women's scare from a G-string

THE sight of a middle-aged man dressed only in a G-string carrying a rucksack on his back has been upsetting women walking on Rodborough Common.

In two almost indentical incidents at around 10am yesterday, Tuesday, a man in his late 40s or 50s was seen approaching lone women walking their dogs near Rodborough Fort.

nitially wearing a T-shirt, the man then walked back past the women having removed his T-shirt to reveal a G-string.

police officers went to the common to investigate but found nothing.

The man is described as white, bearded, slightly balding with greying light brown hair, slim and tanned and approximately 5ft 9 or 10in.

Police are advising women not to walk unaccompanied on the common if possible and to carry mobile telephones with them.

Anyone who can help identify the man is asked to call the police on 0845 090 1234.
