Giant of the silver screen

CATHERINE Zeta-Jones is set to jazz things up in Woodchester.

A 15ft giant figure of the Hollwood star will dazzle visitors to The Old Priory, on Saturday, July 12, during an evening outdoor-cinema screening of the Oscar-winning film, Chicago.

The film which won the Welsh born star Best Supporting Actress gong at this year's Oscars, will be screened as part of Cotswold Care Hospice's Big Weekend.

The outdoor cinema is for one night only in the stunning grounds of a 15th century old priory, kindly donated for the evening by hospice vice-president Rosie Villiers.

On Sunday, July 13, the Gloucestershire Youth Jazz Orchestra shall be keeping the jazz theme going by giving a live performance of jazz classics in the afternoon.

Tickets for either event cost £5 each and are available from the hospice on 01453 886868. All proceeds to benefit Cotswold Care Hospice.
