Rovers pick out Cherries

FOREST GREEN ROVERS' reward for defeating Thame United will see Alan Lewer's side face high-flying Coca- Cola League Division One Bournemouth in the first round of the FA Cup on Saturday November 13.

Forest Green's 5-0 FA Cup passage was sealed thanks to strikes from Jon Richardson-his first of the season, and Jefferson Louis. Mark Beesley hit two after the break with Charlie Griffin completing the rout after Rovers struck three times in the final ten minutes.

Earlier, controversy was to the fore in a testy encounter. Louis caught Thame's Nik Stewart in the face with an elbow and received yellow.
