Lewis nets call

GLOUCESTERSHIRE'S Jon Lewis could make his England debut against South Africa in the Fifth Test on Friday.

Lewis flew from Heathrow on Sunday to join up with Michael Vaughan's side. Lewis, who has been part of the National Academy at Loughborough this winter.

Lewis was preparing for the A tours to Sri Lanka and the United Arab Emirates next month. The squad includes Gloucestershire's Alex Gidman.

Meanwhile, Gloucestershire coach Mark Alleyne has been awarded a new four-year contract.
