Drums are a real hit

IN a cymbal of community goodwill a Stroud company has donated two drum kits worth £650 to Rodborough Primary School.

The kits were given to the school by Tripod IT Ltd, a computer hardware networking supplier based in Libbys Mill.

Its director John McLellan, whose youngest son is a pupil at the school, said: "We really love Rodborough School and music there was something we wanted to support."

He and his wife, a fellow director of the company set up four years ago, are both keen musicians.

Deputy headteacher Richard Lucas praised their "support for teaching of music in the school."
