Comedic pair take to the stage

A PAIR of fresh comedic blooms are to take the stage at the latest Duke of York comedy night on Nelson street in Stroud this week.

Owen Niblock performs surreal monologues, tells laid back anecdotes and plays comedy songs on his Stick Dulcimer (including the "fantastic" Frog Skimming song). Owen's chirpy, laid back onstage persona has quickly won over numerous audiences.

Addy Borgh has that rare talent of making people laugh when he walks on stage (helped of course by a large nose and mad eyes). Addy is a great performer of highly acclaimed and original material, an ability noticed immediately by the BBC when he appeared on the 'Stand-up show' (BBC1) after only one year as a comedian.

Comedy night at The Duke of York takes place on Wednesday April 6. Doors open at 7pm and tickets cost £5.
