Easter bunnies hop to it in Minchinhampton

A TOP young hurdler put her jumping skills to good use on Saturday as she bounded around Minchinhampton dressed as the Easter Bunny.

County athlete Lizzie Sandall, 17, gave out chocolate eggs to delighted town tots in an annual fun event, organised by local shop the Herb Pot.

And she was helped by little bunny assistants Kezzy England, three, and sister Gretel, six, nieces of Herb Pot owner Mandy Evans.

"It was just for the children and they loved it," said Mandy Evans, who has been running the bunny bonanza for the last three years.

"Lizzie has always been my Easter Bunny - she is very good at it."

The shop paid their bunny for her services with £50 sponsorship cash to buy sports kit.
