Bedding bliss for audience

THE Cotswold Players return with their latest production next week, a scintillating comedy from the pen of Alan Aykbourne.

Bedroom Farce was first produced in 1975. The complex set involves 3 bedrooms - and the action flits from room to room.

The action takes place over the course of one evening and night with simultaneous happenings in each of the bedrooms, making for a fast-paced and extremely funny play.

"Finding 1970's bedding has been something of a challenge, as there were no duvets in those days," said Players' press officer Dave Kilmister.

"Thankfully Saymor Furnishings are very kindly sponsoring this production by loaning us the beds we need."

Bedroom Farce runs from Tuesday, April 12 to Saturday, April 16 at the Cotswold Playhouse.

Tickets are available from Stroud Tourist Information office in the Subscription Rooms and are priced £9.

The doors open at 7pm and the curtain goes up at 7.30pm.
