The Nailsworth Festival opens with a bang on April 23, in the shape of Festival Saturday, where the streets of the town come alive with innumerate street entertainers, jazz bands, mummers and more.
The shops and galleries will all be doing their bit for the Festival, there will be a parade through the town and the day will close with the infamous Nailstock music jamboree at the King George V Field.
Throughout the week there will be music, morris dancing, talks, walks, exhibitions and films.
On Sunday, April 24 head gardener at Highgrove David Howard gives a talk on Highgrove's horticultural philosophy at Nailsworth Primary School at 3pm and The Creole Belles and The Sultanas of Swing play live at Nailsworth Town Hall at 7.30pm.
