A PREGNANT woman was the victim of a road rage attack, when her car with her 2 year old daughter inside was deliberately rammed by a hit-and-run driver.
The 30 year-old woman was left "shaken and distressed" as the driver sped off, after a dispute over who should give way on a narrow stretch of road on Pike Lane, Nailsworth.
She was on her way to a doctor's appointment at around 3.00pm on Tuesday, May 3 when her car came face to face with a grey Peugeot 306 coming down the hill.
The victim got out to ask him to give way, as there were a queue of vehicles behind her.
The man, who was in his early 20s, refused, and after both parties got back into their cars the offender rammed the victim's vehicle.
He then proceeded to inspect his vehicle for damage before reversing off up the hill.
No-one was hurt but police are appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward. Anyone with information should telephone 0845 0901234.
