Artist's oils of France displayed by gallery

THE LITTLE Gallery in Tetbury is currently hosting an exhibition of recent oil paintings of France by the internationally acclaimed painter, K.B. Hancock, who has just returned from a winter painting trip to Provence and the Cote d'Azur.

K.B. Hancock is well-known for his impressionist oil paintings of Provence which capture the exceptional colours and light of that area and have a luminosity and clarity of colour that create an almost three-dimensional quality.

The paintings which will be on view reflect the beauty of the south of France in all its seasons, the high-key colours of summer, soft early morning light across the Luberon in spring and dramatic blue skies above glistening white snow which fell, unusually, this winter in the Cote d'Azur.

The show runs at The Little Gallery, 4 The Chipping, Tetbury until Sunday, June 12 and is open 10.30am to 5pm daily.
