Explosion of colour

AUTUMN is here and Westonbirt Arboretum is awash with a myriad of magnificent colours.

The current scene of ruby red Japanese maples, towering incense cedars and candyfloss trees are just a few of the glorious sights at what is one of Britain's finest collections of trees and shrubs.

With 600 acres of land, the arboretum at Tetbury boasts a colourful selection of 18,000 rare trees and shrubs found along over 17 miles of footpaths.

Already internationally renowned for its spectacular autumn colour, this year is set to be better than ever thanks to the launch of the spectacular new Rotary Glade - a carefully picked selection of the best maples from around the world.
