PREVIEW: Woodchester art exhibition

IN A country house overlooking the wooded valleys of Woodchester, five artists selected for their outstanding talents are showing paintings inspired by the living environment this weekend.

Works range in scale and technique from classic watercolour landscapes to thought-provoking abstract images in oil and other mediums.

Work can be seen, bought, commissioned and discussed with the artists themselves - Bryony Leatherbarrow and son, Frances Christen, Amanda Woodman and Jusefa Charlamow - from 6pm to 9pm on Friday, November 18, and 11am to 6pm on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20.

The artists will also be demonstrating various techniques and processes during the weekend.

The open studio show takes place at Fourways on Park Lane in Woodchester. The show will be sign-posted from the A46.
