THE Wycliffe squash squad finished the season on a high after retaining the Gloucestershire premier league title and the national under 15 title.
Wycliffe last won the men's premier league four years ago, and since then The Riverside and East Glos clubs have dominated the league.
Most of the squad played a part in the success over the course of the season. Rich Wade, squad captain, and number two string was player of the season - he only lost one match, and that was to Mike Martin of Riverside.
Mention must also go to Adam Wellstead who won all 10 of his matches, playing at four and five.
Wycliffe also retained the under 15 National school's title, winning the final 5-0, a repeat of last year's performance.
This is the third time in four years that Wycliffe has won this.
The team of Josh Saysell, Sam Cantle, Lewis Wood, Declan Christie, William Hewer and Matthew Lewis played well throughout the entire campaign.
Sam Cantle won both his matches in the final without conceding a point. Meanwhile, William Hewer, who attends Wycliffe preparatory, has been selected to represent Wales in the under 13 boy's home internationals against Scotland, Ireland and Northern England.
