School fete

KING'S Stanley Infant School is holding a summer fair on Saturday, June 14 at noon.

Pam Jenkinson, secretary to the PTFA, said: "It will be the last fair as an infant school before we merge with King's Stanley Junior school to become King's Stanley C of E Primary school on September 1.

"So we thought we should do something a bit different and would like to try and have the oldest ex-pupil of the school to open the fair, along with the youngest at the school at the moment.

"We would be grateful if readers can help us find the oldest former pupil at the school."

There will be the usual stalls, BBQ, beer tent, pony rides and fabulous prizes in the Grand Prize Draw.

You can contact the school on 01452 822570.
