STROUD Choral Society will be celebrating Christmas with an evening of carols, hymns and readings at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Beeches Green, Stroud on Friday, at 7.30pm.
The society will be led by its conductor Huw Williams, who is also Musical Director, Her Majesty’s Chapel Royal, St James’s Palace, and will be joined for the evening by a children’s choir. The programme includes works by Stanford and Elgar as well as a selection of traditional carols. Tickets will be available on the door.
