A TRIBUTE to Marvin Gaye takes place in the Sub Rooms on Saturday at 8pm.
The Freedom Now Suite DJs will be celebrating the music of the man who was one of the most consistent and enigmatic of the Motown hitmakers.
Mike Ashley and KGB will be playing tracks in Mr Twitchett’s from 8pm.
“Marvin Gaye was more than a singer. He was more than a writer. He was a man able to take emotion and passion and all kinds of feeling and sculpt them with music until they became artistic statements. Marvin Gaye was a poet, he was a genius. There’s never gonna be anybody like him,” said KGB.
