GRETSCH wielding axe-man Ruzz Guitar brings his Blues Revue to Stroud on Friday night.
The trio will be performing at the Crown and Sceptre, from 8.30pm.
Inspired by Wilko Johnson, Brian Setzer, Jim Heath and Jimmie Vaughan, Ruzz has spent a number of years developing his own blues, rock ‘n’ roll, R n B fusion style.
After only six months of taking up guitar, Ruzz was out playing with blues bands and in blues jams around his home city of Bristol. He went on to play with rockabilly bands The Red Hot Trio, and The Cheaterslicks. By 2013, Ruzz had decided that he wanted to get back to the blues and so formed Ruzz Guitar’s Blues Revue, a trio, which also features drummer Holly Carter and double bassist Joe Allen.
