STROUD electronic duo, Body Clocks launch their new single at the Goods Shed on Saturday.
The pair, Joe Craven and Josef Kašpa, will perform the track, Afterglow, plus songs from their EP Still Life.
Joe and Josef create their music through layering and looping beats with soundscapes, live double bass and guitar. Blues and world influences are merged with experimental electronic elements, resulting in an immersive, yet danceable sound.
Friends from an early age, the recent convergence of their musical tastes to a shared love of electronic music led to the creation of Body Clocks at the beginning of 2015. Recording and producing from their home studio, the music has since evolved to incorporate an improvisational element, perfectly suited to their live show. The pair return from playing at this year’s Glastonbury Festival for their Stroud debut.
They will be joined by Leiik, Bunki and DJ Da Rico.
Tickets are available on the door and from Trading Post.
