THE Uplifter meets the Mighty John Street Ska Orchestra in a double bill of Jamaican sounds, this weekend.
Hot on the heels of their amazing performance at Womad Festival, the Mighty John Street Ska Orchestra will be playing ska tunes from the 1960s and 1970s, including Guns of Navarone, Swing Easy, Hawaii 5-0 and the James Bond Theme.
Tom The Uplifter will complement the band’s performance with a DJ set featuring choice cuts of reggae, roots, ska and dub.
The event is taking place at the Goods Shed on Friday at 7.30pm.
