Pews make way for dancers in Horsley Church
FRENCH dance returns to Horsley on Saturday with music from Le Boldwood and Venn.
Le Boldwood are Becky Price, Daniel Wolverson and Matt Coatsworth, and they play the traditional music of central France and Brittany. Instruments include the hurdy-gurdy, bagpipes, violins and accordion.
They will be followed by popular local band, Venn, who are Mike Smith, Julian Scott and Marcus Scott.
Afternoon dance workshops for all levels begin at 2.30pm, and the main dance begins at 8pm.
This month’s dance is being held in St Martin’s Church, Horsley.
