A MANOR house built in the Arts and Crafts tradition is opening its doors and filling rooms with locally produced arts and crafts.

Stanton Guildhouse Trust is hosting three open days selling pottery, paintings, wooden objects, glass and quilting to celebrate Winchcombe Festival of Music & Arts.

The Graded II-listed house, in Stanton near Broadway, is a charitable trust which was created to give people a place for creative pursuits.

Today it runs regular courses such as pottery and furniture restoration and has seven bedrooms, many taking in views reaching as far as the Breacon Beacons.

The display is part of the festival’s Art Trail and can be seen from Tuesday, May 19 to Thursday, May 21, from 10.30am to 4pm.

Parking is available and the ground floor has disabled access. Refreshments are available.

Stanton Guildhouse Trust is location 13 on the Art Trail which runs from May 18 to 25.

Winchcombe Festival of Music & Arts includes exhibitions, workshops, poetry, local history events, and music from blue grass to jazz.
