RETURNING for its fourth year on July 17-19, the Gloucester Quays Food Festival is promising to be bigger and better than ever before On Friday the festival will welcome some of the Cotswolds’ most acclaimed chefs and will be taking some of Gloucester Rugby’s players past and present and turning them into culinary masters.

Saturday sees the return of the one and only Paul Hollywood, baking live and sharing tricks of the trade with audience participation thrown in to the mix.

And on Sunday it’s all about the next generation of cooks, growers and bakers, as Cbeebies star Katy Ashworth and Ben Faulks as Mr Bloom will have the youngsters singing, dancing and learning how to become little chefs and healthy eaters.

There will be a huge range of great stalls offering delicious, artisan food and drink to try and buy, plus cookware and cooking accessories, crafts, jewellery and lots more.

Children will entertained with the return of the free hands on cooking activities for children at the ‘Kids Cookery School’, located in a special kids’ cookery marquee in Pillar and Lucy Square.

Sessions can be booked on the day at the Food Festival.

And look out for the authentic 1967 Routemaster bus, now converted into double decker bar, with lawn seating in a waterfront setting with DJs and circus shows through the day.

There is also more live music throughout the day on the main lawn.
