ON SATURDAY, July 12 Gloucester Cathedral will host a spectacular day of music which will involve all of the Choirs associated with the Cathedral.
These will include the Cathedral Choir, Cathedral Youth Choir, Cathedral Junior Choir, Saint Cecilia Singers and the Caring Chorus Choir in a full programme of events.
The full programme is: 11- 12pm Cathedral Chapter House - £6 entry. Coffee Concert given by the Cathedral Youth Choir and Junior Choir to include: Britten Friday Afternoons.
1-1:50pm Cathedral Nave - free entry. Lunchtime Concert given by Caring Chorus.
3-4.15pm Cathedral Nave tickets: www.cheltenhamfestivals.com. Concert by Gloucester Cathedral Choir (part the Cheltenham Festival) 5.-5.45pm Cathedral Nave free entry. Organ Recital by Jonathan Hope Assistant Director of Music, Gloucester Cathedral 7.30pm-8.30pm Cathedral Nave free entry. Evening Concert given by Saint Cecilia Singers.
