HISTORY enthusiasts are invited on a tour of a fascinating collection of items from the 1940s.
Stroud Local History Society is holding its annual gala – this year titled The Fighting Forties – at the Old Town Hall in The Shambles, on Sunday, from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.
Guest historians, Virginia Adsett and Gillian Morse will showcase an array of interesting items from the 1940s, including stories, toys, books, clothes, and household bits and pieces.
